Melissa Symoens

Melissa earned her Master’s in Germanic languages (English and Dutch) at VUB in 2001. Driven by the desire to explore the world of business, she did an additional Master’s in multilingual business communication at the University of Ghent.

She began her career in the energy sector, where she was responsible for several major customers. However, her predilection for languages and communication remained undimmed, eventually leading her to seek new horizons. In 2007 she joined IGTV.

As General Manager, Melissa is responsible for the day-to-day management of IGTV and ensures the smooth running of all administrative and operational processes, from HR to invoicing. Collaboration, planning, organisation, languages... Melissa is in her element here. She loves the diversity of her job and the varied contacts with clients, translators and colleagues.

Outside the office, Melissa has her hands full with her daughters, both of whom are bursting with energy. But that does not stop her from playing the violin now and then, or getting stuck into a good book.
